Barbara M. Brogoch (nee Mann), 69, of Vermilion, died Sunday, June 24, 2018 at Stein Hospice, Sandusky after a battle with cancer. She was born July 16, 1948 in Boulder, CO and had been a Vermilion resident along with living in Hong Kong and Shanghai, China. Barbara had worked in several capacities for Shanghai American School including teaching, Registrar, and Admissions Director before retiring in 2015. She was a member of the Vermilion Shores Board and enjoyed reading, gardening, and especially enjoyed the adventures of travel. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Gary Brogoch of Vermilion; daughters, Carla (Dave Thurlow) Brogoch of Albany, NY and Laura (Ogi Moore) Brogoch of Portland, OR; grandsons, Max and Larry; brother, Kent Mann of Cleveland; and her sisters, Joyce Ziegler and Patricia Mann both of Allentown, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence Ralph and Nadine (nee Lanham) Mann and her brother, Russell Mann. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 5, 2018 from 10:00 am until the time of a memorial service at 11:00 am at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH 44089. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870. Online condolences may be made at www.riddlefuneralhome.com.
