Danny Henline

Danny Lynn Henline, 71, of Vermilion, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, August 24, 2024, after lengthy illness.

Born on February 16, 1953, in Roswell, NM, Dan spent the majority of his life as a proud resident of Vermilion.

His professional career spanned 41 years at Lithonia Lighting in Vermilion becoming a Maintenance Manager, he then worked at The Nord Center.

Dan was an active member of the Vermilion Fish and Game and found joy in fishing, boating, camping, and riding motorcycles. A skilled mechanic, he loved to tinker and repair anything that crossed his path. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family and friends.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 22 years, Catherine (née Camilovic) Henline of Vermilion; his daughter, Christiana Lynn Henline-Wells of Mentor; his father, Carl Henline of Vermilion; and his grandchildren, Kaden, Mary, and Ema, along with step-grandchildren Domonic and Krista. Dan is also survived by his brother, Kenneth (Molly Blank) Henline of Avon; his sister, Sharon Kay (Larry) Battista of Florida; his nieces, Ashley, Erica, Bianca, and Charli and his nephew, Lorenzo.

Dan was preceded in death by his mother, Arline (née New) Henline, and his brother, Charles Henline.

Friends and family are invited to gather on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until the funeral service begins at 12:00 noon at Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
