Deborah A. Osberg (nee Penney), 88, of Vermilion, passed away on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at Mill Manor Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
Born on September 14, 1936, in Massachusetts, Deborah had resided in Vermilion for the past 15 years, having relocated from Florida. She was a dedicated health care professional, starting her career as a Registered Nurse before becoming the Head of Medical Records at Lorain Community Hospital.
A member of Grace United Methodist Church in Vermilion, Deborah enjoyed a variety of pastimes, including boating, playing bridge, and traveling.
She is survived by her son, Richard (Linda) Osberg of Vermilion; daughters, Debbie (Scott) Clark-Becker of Vermilion and Kimberly Osberg of Jasper, TX; granddaughters, Erin (Nate) Dominick and Lauren (Kevin) Murphy; grandson, Ryan (Makayla) Clark; great-granddaughter, Hannah Murphy and Luna Rhineberger; and great-grandson, Clay Dominick.
Deborah was preceded in death by her husband, Dean Louis Osberg, and her parents, Cabot W. and Winifred Marjorie (nee Stott) Penney.
A private service will be held, with inurnment at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
