Dolores Mae Carmon, 86 of Elyria, died Saturday, February 17, 2007 in EMH Regional Health Center following a sudden illness. She was born February 13, 1921 in Lorain. She graduated from Brookside High School and had lived in the Lorain and Sheffield area most of her life, moving to Elyria in 1984. She and her husband had also wintered in Florida for many years. She was a devoted homemaker to her husband, children and grandchildren. She will be especially remembered for her cooking and enjoyed the times when her family could be gathered around the dinner table. She was a longtime member of St. Agnes Catholic Church in Elyria and had also attended Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Grafton with her son and daughter-in-law. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Jacob J. Carmon of Elyria; son and daughter-in-law, Jacob A. "Jack" and Midge Carmon of Carlisle Twp.; 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. She was preceded-in-death by a son, James H. Carmon in 1969, daughter, Frances A. Carmon in 1994, parents, Joseph and Anna (nee Ferner) Biltz, brothers, Sylvester, Edward and Vincent Biltz and sisters, Dorothy Livchak, her twin, and Helen DeWitt. Friends may call Thursday, February 22, 2007 from 11:00 am until a 12:00 Noon Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (formerly Immaculate Conception), 708 Erie St., Grafton, with the Rev. John P. Seabold, pastor, officiating. Interment will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
