Eleanor G. Mcnally

Eleanor G. McNally (nee Strauser), 90, of Fairview Park, formerly of Lorain, died Friday, March 31, 2006 at Kingston of Vermilion. She was born February 11, 1916 in Lorain where she grew up and later lived in Fairview Park for over 40 years before moving to Kingston of Vermilion. She graduated from St. Mary School in Lorain and attended Oberlin College. She was a former member of St. Mary Church of Lorain and St. Angela Merici Church while living in Fairview Park. She enjoyed cooking and sewing. She is survived by her daughters, Sally Robinson of Elyria, Mary Wallace of Bellevue and Ann Halligan of Fairview Park; sons, Thomas McNally of Chula Vista, California and Mark McNally of North Royalton; 12 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren; sister, Mary Alice Sandor of Avon Lake. Preceding her in death were her husband, Walter J. McNally, parents, Charles F. and Gertrude (nee Feldkamp) Strauser Sr., a granddaughter, Lorra McNally and brothers, Raymond and Charles Jr. There will be no visitation. A memorial mass will be on Thursday, April 6, 2006 at 10:00 am at St. Mary Church, 8th Street and Reid Avenue, Lorain. The Reverend Kenneth Wolnowski, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
