Emma Sivinski (nee King), 97, of Lorain passed away Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Golden Acres Nursing Home in Amherst. She was born June 15, 1914 in Caroline, West Virginia, the daughter of the late George and Julia (Mike) King. Emma had been employed by General Industries for 10 years, and retired in 1978 from the Nordson Corp. as an inspector. On October 19, 1956 she married Louis Sivinski. He preceded her in death September 8, 2000. Emma is survived by daughter Marcia Claycomb of Elyria; step-son Peter "Rocky" (Olga) Sivinski of Amherst; sister Julia Bensie of Dearborn, MI; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren. Along with her parents and husband she was preceded in death by granddaughter Colleen M. Shullick, and brothers Julius and Gus King. There will be no visitation or service. Cremation has taken place. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Animal Protective League 8303 Murray Ridge Rd., Elyria, OH 44035.
