Faith E. Kishman

Faith E. Kishman (nee Moes), 88, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at home after a short illness. She was born April 29, 1923 in Vermilion, where she has been a life long resident. She graduated from the Cleveland Institute of Music and majored in Voice. She also studied at Oberlin Conservatory and Julliard. Faith worked as a soloist for many churches in Cleveland. She was a former member of the Vermilion Evangelical and Reformed Church. She enjoyed genealogy, traveling, gardening, ballet, classical music, and she especially loved animals. She is survived by her son, Henry (Patricia) Kishman of Vermilion; daughters, Heidi Greene of Long Beach, CA and Kathy (Robert) Webner of New Albany, OH; 8 grandchildren: William J. (Megan), Matthew H., Andrew P., and Ann V. Kishman, W. Miles and Max C. Greene; and Richard N. and W. Russell Webner; and a sister, Charity Daniels of Vermilion. She was preceded in death by her husband, William B. Kishman in 1993; parents, Leon J. and Grace (nee Risden) Moes; brother, James Moes; and dear great aunt, Gladys Risden. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 24, 2012 from 7 to 9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion Ohio. Friends may also call Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 10:00 am until the time of the Funeral service at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
