Frank Bagola, 90, of Vermilion, died Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Mill Manor Nursing Home after a lengthy illness.
He was born May 12, 1932 in Buffalo, NY and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 54 years moving from Lorain.
Frank was a veteran of the United States Marines serving during the Korean War.
Frank worked for US Postal Service as a Letter Carrier for 37 years retiring in 1986.
He was a member of St. Mary Catholic Parish, Vermilion, VFW Post #7576, Amvets Post #22, American Legion Post #397 and the Letter Carriers Association.
He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Shirley (nee Kneitinger) Bagola of Vermilion; sons, David Bagola of Taylorville, KY and Thomas Bagola of Vermilion; and his granddaughter, Karyn Clemons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Ann (nee Rucek) Bagola; son, Frank Bagola; brother, Edward Bagola; and his sister, Jean Hren.
Private inurnment with Military Honors will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville.
