Harold K. Dillion , 74, of Vermilion, passed away Friday, March 28, 2014 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph after a lengthy illness. Harold was born October 29, 1939 in Ivel, KY and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 45 years. Harold was an inspector for Ford Motor Co in Lorain retiring in 1997. He was a member of Lakeview Baptist Chruch, 425 Retirees, and was an honorary life member of the AMVETS Post # 22 for his volunteer service. Harold enjoyed photography, country and gospel blue grass music, and was a big Cleveland sports fan. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary (nee Hall), sons Terry (Annette Ewers) Dillion and Tony Dillion both of Jackson, MI, Ricky (Tami) Dillion of Louisville, KY, and Mike (Stacie) Dillion of Vermilion; grandchildren Justina, Darron, Dusty, Hannah, Jordan, Landon, Devin, and Kristen; great grandson, Emery; brother, Ronnie (Carol) Dillion of Banner, KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert and Hazel (nee Hall) Dillion, and sisters, Joyce Adkins and Darlene Burke The family will receive friends on Monday, March 31st from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South St., Vermilion, OH. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home with additional visitation from 11:00 A.M. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery.
