Harry J. Doman, 67, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, May 21, 2013 at his home after a sudden illness. Harry was born September 2, 1945 in Washington, PA, and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 48 years moving from PA. Harry worked for Ford Motor Co., Lorain as a repairman for 30 years retiring in 1995. He was a member of the UAW #425, Vermilion Fish and Game, and the Bow and Barrel Archery Club. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Elfie (nee Smeby) Doman; sons, Harry J. Doman Jr. of Morgantown, W.V. and Richard L. Doman of Lorain; daughters, April (Kevin) Doman of Vermilion, and Tina (Dan) Murray of Morgantown, WV; step-sons, Kenneth (Jan) Hall of Chicago, IL, Jack (Sue) Miller of Tallahassee, FL, and Kevin (Donna) Miller of N. Olmsted; step-daughters, Davida (Rick) Stohrel of Sheffield and Glenda (John) McMaster of Alexandria, VA; daughter-in-law, Debbie Hall of Pasadena, TX; 29 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia Doman of Barbertown and Betty Ann Craggs of Pittsburgh, PA; and brothers, Elmer Doman of Washington, PA, and Robert Stahl of Dallas, GA He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Stahl; mother, Helen (nee Calvert) Stahl; adopted mother, Laura (nee Stahl) Doman; step-son, Keith Hall; one granddaughter; and two great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, May 24, 2013 from 12 Noon until the time of the service at 3:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion Ohio. Kenneth Hall will officiate.
