James Mell Morris

James Mell Morris, 85, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at his home.

He was born February 15, 1938 in Flemington, WV and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 48 years moving from Lorain.

James was a veteran of the United States Air Force and had retired from Ford Motor Co., Lorain.

He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Peter Morris; mother, Callie (nee Boone) Morris Wieland; brothers, Charles, Dale, Lewis, and Thomas; and his sisters, Madgeline Miscow, Geneva Nehls, and Lola Gordon.

Private graveside services will be held at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery, Seville,OH.
