Janet Irene Murphy

Janet Irene Murphy (nee Burghardt), 70, of Huron, died Sunday, September 22, 2013 at Stein Hospice after a one year illness. Janet was born March 10, 1943 in Cleveland and has been a 10 year resident of Huron. She was a member of the Lighthouse Church of Huron and enjoyed baking, her children, and her church life. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Edward Les Murphy; daughter, Kelly (Bernard "BJ") Lavelle of Huron; sons, Edward Murphy of Clyde, and James Murphy of Huron; brother, Sam (Kathie) Heidt of Strongsville and 4 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Matthew Burghardt, and mother, Janet Heidt. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 11 am at Lighthouse Assembly of God Church, 820 Cleveland Road East, Huron.
