Jason E. Dodge

Jason E. Dodge, 35, of Amherst, died Saturday, October 30, 2010 as a result of a motorcycle accident. Born January 25, 1975 in Elyria, he had been a lifelong Henrietta Township resident. He attended Firelands High School and had been a mechanic for Joe Grisez Automotive and Marine. He currently had worked at Whirlaway in Wellington. He was a devoted parent to his children and enjoyed fishing, 4 wheeling, and riding motorcycles. Survivors include his daughter, Addyson Dodge, Vermilion; son, Cayden Dodge, Vermilion and twins, Parker and Paige Dodge, Amherst; parents, Raymond and Patsy (nee Jones) Amherst; companion Jen Grisez, Amherst; former wife, Amanda Dodge; sister, Tammy (Cevin) Milas, South Amherst; niece, Shyanne, nephew, Dakota and grandfather, Robert Jones. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Courtney, 2009 and maternal grandmother, Joyce Jones and paternal grandparents, Edward and Maxine Dodge. . Friends may call Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010 from 6 -9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion Ohio. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
