Jeffrey W. Marsolais

Jeffrey W. Marsolais, 38, of Lorain, died Monday, October 8, 2018 at his home after a sudden illness. He was born December 3, 1979 in Lorain and had been a life long Vermilion and Lorain resident. Jeffrey worked as an independent carpenter for various builders. He enjoyed following Cleveland and Ohio State sports, cookouts, and especially enjoyed spending time with his children and family. He is survived by his wife of 9 years, Stacy Marsolais; sons, Gavyn Marsolais of Elyria and Michael Marsolais of Avon; daughters, Angel and Danielle Marsolais at home; mother, Carla Boyd; mom, Anna Marsolais; granddaughter, Paislee Marsolais; sisters, Jennifer (Donald ) Fuhrer of Carrollton, OH and Cheryl (Will) Michaels of Akron; brothers, Bob (Beth) Moore of Avon, Michael (Courtney DeBolt) Marsolais of Vermilion, and David Heatley of Vermilion; step brother, Sam Heatley and step sisters, Joanna and Trish Heatley. He was preceded in death by his father, Robert A Marsolais; mother-in-law, Linda Kinter, and uncles, Dennis Marsolais, Jerry Statalnaker, Fred Boyd, Edger Boyd, and Hal Marsolais. The family will receive friends on Friday, Oct. 12, 2018 from 4:00 pm until the time of funeral service at 7:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
