JoAnne Marie Marsh (nee Plouffe), 63, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, August 29, 2012 after a sudden illness. She was born March 3, 1949 in Holyoke, MA, and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 42 years moving from Elyria and Chicopee, MA. JoAnne worked for Our Lady of The Wayside, Avon as a Financial Manager for the past 5 years. She had also worked for May Credit Service Center, Sheffield, Oberlin News Tribune, and Jamie's Furniture. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion, AMVETS Post 22, American Legion Post 397, and VFW Post 2529. She enjoyed singing Karaoke, volunteering at the Veterans Home, reading, and spending time with her granddaughter. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Marsh of Amherst; granddaughter, Kayla Madden, mother, Eileen Gosselin (nee Desmarais); brother, Donald Plouffe of Palmer, MA, sister, Michelle Doucet of Davenport, FL, companion, Bill Edwards of Vermilion and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Henry Joseph Plouffe. Family will receive friends on Sunday, September 2, 2012 from 11 am until time of a memorial service at 12 noon at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, with Reverend Jim Holmer, officiating.
