Joseph Corcino, 80, of Vermilion, died Friday, April 28, 2017 at his home after a lengthy illness. He was born February 5, 1937 in Luquillo, Puerto Rico and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 67 years moving from Lorain. Joseph worked as a relief man for Ford Automotive Plant, Lorain retiring after 33 years in 1991. He was a member of the United Church of Christ Congregational, Vermilion and enjoyed watching Westerns and Cleveland Sports. He also enjoyed old cars, especially Corvettes. He is survived by his sons, Jack (Stacey) Corcino of Great Fall, MT and James (Amanda) Corcino of Vermilion; grandchildren, Brandon and Lana Hovanitz, and Raizo Corcino; and his brothers, Frank Corcino of Lorain, Al (Marge) Corcino of Lorain, and Eddy G. Corcino of FL. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann (nee Thompson) Corcino in 2007; parents, Juan Zenon and Eustacia (nee Herrera) Corcino; sisters Nora and Olga Satos; and brother, Eddie N. Corcino. The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 4, 2017 from 12 Noon until the time of a Memorial Service at 2:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion Ohio.
