Julie A. Ebel (nee Wilson), 63, of Vermilion, passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at her home following a lengthy illness.
Born on September 9, 1960, in Lorain, OH, Julie was a lifelong resident of Vermilion. She had a fulfilling career at Lithonia Lighting, where she worked in supply chain management for many years.
Julie was an active member of AMVETS Post 22 and the Amherst Eagles 1442. She loved to laugh and a good party. She had a zest for life and loved golfing, boating, and playing cards. She was an avid sports fan, especially of the Cleveland Browns and Indians and loved her animals.
Julie is survived by her sister, Janet (David) Williams; her brother, Scott Wilson; sister in law, Cindy Wilson; nieces, Dalaina and Maggie; nephews, Bill, Patrick, and Doug; and her best friends, Rose, Bobbie, Katie and many others.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William J. and Barbara (nee Leitch) Wilson, and her brother, William Wilson.
Honoring Julie's wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date at Amvets Post 22.
