Kimberly Ann Mignano (nee Flannery), 54, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at her home after a short illness. She was born November 28, 1962 in Amherst and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 7 years moving from Berlin Heights. Kimberly had assisted many people with her home health care work for many years. She enjoyed reading and loved animals, especially birds, dogs, and horses. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved spending time with them. She is survived by her husband of 8 years, Mark Mignano of Vermilion; daughters, Shannon (Elijah) Coe of Norwalk and Michelle (Richard) Swab of Lorain; sons, Christopher (Bambi) Denny of Sandusky and Matthew (Kayla) Denny of Vermilion; sisters, Deborah (Barry) Hignett of Lorain and Jazzlyn Ortiz-Flannery of Vermilion; brothers, John (Lori) Flannery of Milan and James Flannery of Vermilion; and her grandsons, Zachary and Brantley. She was preceded in death by her parents, Samuel E. and Vema (nee Dancy) Flannery and her sister, Cynthia Graver. The family will receive friends on Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Funeral services will be Monday, Aug. 14, 2017 at 11:00 am at the funeral home. Pastor Aaron Webb will officiate. Interment will follow at Peaks Cemetery, Berlin Heights. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Kimberly Mignano memorial fund at any Key Bank. A spaghetti dinner benefit will be held Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017 from 3-8 pm at Collins Methodist United Church, 4290 Heartland Center Rd., Collins, OH 44126.
