Lee Ann Gibbons

Lee Ann Gibbons (nee Hamburg), 66, of Westlake, passed away Monday, November 12, 2018 in the comfort of her own home. Lee was born April 18, 1952 in Mechanicsburg, PA. She had been a Westlake resident for the past 10 years. She graduated from Vermilion High School in 1970 and always enjoyed the Vermilion area. Before retiring, she was a waitress for Bucci's in Berea. She enjoyed her cats, Pippen and Garbonzo. She loved going to concerts, her favorite event was attending the Hessler Street Fair every spring. She was known for having an exuberant fashion sense and loved exotic clothing and hats. She is survived by her son, Tim Lane of Cleveland; brother, Ross (Judy) Hamburg of Amherst; niece, Tracey and nephew, Todd. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ross and Betty (nee Weber) Hamburg. The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 15, 2018 from 11:00 am until the time of a Celebration of Life Service at 1:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Chaplain Mel Sayler will officiate. A reception will follow at the Vermilion Country Club, 12210 W. Lake Road, Vermilion, OH 44089. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
