Louise Midge Walton Northouse

Louise "Midge" Walton Northouse (nee Schisler), 90, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Kingston of Vermilion after a brief illness. Louise was born March 11, 1923 in Vermilion and had been a Vermilion resident since 1988 moving from Toledo. During World War II, she served as an Army Ordinance associate in Cleveland. She graduated from the Oberlin School of Commerce and was a secretary for the Field Service Director of the National Exchange Club. She also worked as a secretary for Basic Food and Jack McKeowan Insurance, both in Vermilion. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary in Vermilion, the Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America and the Zenobia Temple. She enjoyed fishing and gardening. She is survived by her sons, Mike (Rhonda) Brothers of Vermilion and Jerry (Nancy) Brothers of Tenneessee; 5 grandchildren and 4 great Grandchildren and step son, Philip Northouse of North Ridgeville. She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Edna (nee Gerber) Schisler; her husband, Harley Walton in 1988; her husband, Arlis Northouse in 2000; baby, Lloyd Brothers in 1945; a brother, Dan Schisler and step son, Larry Walton. Services are private with burial in Birmingham Cemetery.
