Margaret Lyons

Margaret "Maggie" Lyons, 71, of Little Hocking, OH died Monday, June 21, 2021 at Marietta Memorial Hospital after complications with COVID. She was born November 28, 1949 in Parkersburg, WV and had been a Little Hocking resident for the past year moving from Belpre, OH. Maggie attended Landmark Baptist Church and enjoyed playing Farmville, shopping, and crafts. She especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving companion, Johnny Baker of Little Hocking; children: Edward (Marybeth) Frye of Cleveland, Aaron "Johnny" (Kathy Dillon) Frye of Cleveland, Joe (Tammy) Frye, Deliana (Charles) Persinger of Burnsville, WV, Adam (Robyn) Frye of Elyria, Rebecca (Chad) Miller of Belpre, and Tina Frye of OH; 13 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brothers, Bill (Gail) Lyons of Vermilion, Dan (Lynn) Lyons of Vermilion, Edward (Brenda Taylor) Lyons of Vermilion, James Lyons of Parkersburg, WV; and her sister, Charlotte (Ivel Terry) Melnik of Vermilion. She was preceded in death by her parents, William R and Evelyn (nee Ault) Lyons and her grandson, Jacob Persinger. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 6:00 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Private inurnment will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery at a later date.
