Nanette M. Fowler (nee McGirr), 50, of Lorain, died Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph after a battle with cancer. She was born April 13, 1959 in Canton, Ohio and lived in Vermilion until moving to Lorain in 1993. She attended Vermilion High School. She worked at P.P.I. Acquisition Co. in Cleveland, Ohio. She was active with her family and especially loved making Sunday dinners for them. She enjoyed shopping and riding motor cycles. Survivors include her children, Michael Fowler of Norwalk, Shawn Fowler of Lorain, Michele Fowler of Lorain, Jessica Stormer of Lorain and Christopher Fowler of Lorain; grandchildren, Jordan Fowler and Isaiah Baldwin; brother, Dion "Charlie" (Joan) McGirr of Vermilion. She was preceded-in-death by her parents, Raymond and Ladine (nee Fritz) McGirr. Friends may call on Saturday, March 27, 2010 from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 2 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Rev. Gary Lauzon of the Pearlbrook Church of God, Cleveland, will officiate. Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
