Pamela Sue Paskvan, 59, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a sudden illness. Pam was born October 28, 1956 in Lorain and had been a life long Vermilion area resident. She graduated from Cleveland State University and worked for the Lorain Post Office as a letter carrier for 22 years. She most recently worked at Meijer, Sandusky. Pam was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion and various social clubs. She enjoyed following Cleveland sports teams, playing soccer, softball, and basketball, and word puzzles. Pam also loved spending time with her family, especially her nieces and nephews. Pam had a generous fun loving spirit. Her laugh was infectious and her humor was second to none. She is survived by her sister, Cynthia (Gary) Baker of Vermilion; brother, Brian (Becky) Paskvan of Bowling Green; and nieces and nephews, Erica, Jason, Derek, Todd, Abby, Stefanie, Stacie, and Jeffrey. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Irene (nee Konsevick) Paskvan and brother, Eric Paskvan. A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, Feb. 27, 2016 at 11:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange St., Vermilion, OH. Father Ron Brickner will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion The family suggests memorial contributions to St. Mary School Endowment Fund, 731 Exchange Street, Vermilion, OH 44089 .
