Aaron C. 'Fowler' Anderson

Aaron C. (Fowler) Anderson, 27, of Vermilion, died Monday, February 25, 2013 at his home after a sudden illness. Aaron was born in Hinckley, OH on May 3rd, 1985, Aaron later moved to Chicago, IL in 1995 and on to Missoula, MT where he attended the University of Montana, at Missoula graduating in 2010 with a B.A. in Music. Aaron moved to Vermilion in November of 2011. Aaron was proficient in several stringed instruments including the guitar (acoustic and electric), mandolin, violin, etc. He co-founded the Bluegrass band "Lil' Smokies" , enjoying a following in local venues. The band later became quite successful in Montana and Idaho. He was a very talented song writer and loved to sing. Aaron had a great love for the out-of-doors, and would hike and camp in Glacier National Park. He especially enjoyed walking and hiking in the mountains and woods of Montana with his dog Leo. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Aaron was the beloved son of Kathryn Anderson of Chicago, IL and Carl Fowler of Vermilion, brother of Jaymeson Anderson of Chicago, God child and nephew of Carol and Edward Krzanowski of Manahawkin, NJ., beloved step son of Cynthia White, "brother" to Shaun White, and Casey White. He is also survived by his faithful companion, Leo. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Orville and Elvira Anderson, and Chester and Cecilia Fowler, aunt Sallie and uncle Rick Taverna and cousin Sallie Anderson. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street Vermilion, Ohio. Funeral services will be 11 am Monday, March 4, 2013 at the funeral home where family will receive friends from 9:00 am until the time of service. Fr. Don Frye will officiate.
