Agnes Thompson

Agnes Thompson (nee Jakmas), age 87, of Lorain passed away Monday, October 10, 2011 at Lake Pointe Health Center in Lorain. She was born September 9, 1924 in Lorain. Agnes was a licensed practical nurse having been employed by Autumn Ages. She was a member of St. Anthony's of Padua Catholic Church. Agnes is survived by her husband of 65 years Robert S. Thompson; son Dale (Camilla) Thompson of Fort Wayne, IN; daughter Jayne Lytel of Saudia Arabia; grandchildren Lorne Thompson, Leo and Lucas Lytel; sisters Helen Cyb of Lorain, and Mary Kohlmyer of San Diego, CA. She was preceded in death by her parents Adam and Anna (nee Latko) Jakmas; brothers Rudy and Richard Jakmas; sisters Josephine Mancini, and Theresa Smith. There will be no visitation. A private graveside service will be held at Calvary Cemetery. Contributions in Agnes's memory may be given to the National Parkinson Foundation P.O. Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
