Albert J. Bodmann

Albert J. Bodmann, 90 of Lorain, died Monday, October 22, 2007 in Golden Acres Lorain County Home following a lengthy illness. He was born January 16, 1917 in Lorain, living in Amherst until returning to Lorain in 1990. He graduated from Amherst Central High School in 1935 and then served in the United States Air Forces during WWII. He was a self-employed farmer for many years, growing fuits and vegetables. He had also worked for Nordson in Amherst for a few years and in car sales for the Joseph Magazini Dealership. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Amherst and its Holy Name Society. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He is survived by numerous cousins and friends. He was preceded-in-death by his parents, John and Lillian (nee Bungart) Bodmann. Friends may call on Thursday, October 25, 2007 from 7-9pm at the Dombrowski-Humphrey-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. A Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 200 St.Joseph Dr., Amherst. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Amherst.
