Albert S. Pruchinski, 70, of Vermilion , died Monday, January 12, 2009 at Community Health Partners West, Lorain. He was born May 21, 1938 in Lorain and has been a Vermilion resident for 1 year. He worked as a lab worker for US Steel Carnegie, Lorain. He was a member of the Lorain Police Auxiliary, enjoyed bingo, working on the computer, and watching wrestling on TV. Survivors include his wife of 6 years, Mary (nee Hamilton), sons, Albert Pruchinski of Lorain, Joe Pruchinski of Lorain, step son, Jesse Rose of Vermilion, step daughters, Loretta (Jerry) Ward of Columbia,TN, and Renee McKinney of Lorain; 13 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and brother, Walter Pruchinski of Amherst . Preceding him in death were his parents, Joe and Alice Pruchinski, wives, Doris, Joann, and Mary Ann Pruchinski; daughter, Diane Hamilton and brother, Jake Pruchinski. Friends may call Friday, January 16, 2009 from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion . Matt Humphrey, Life Celebrant, will officiate. Interment will follow in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst. Contributions may be made to the Albert S. Pruchinski Memorial Fund to assist with funeral expenses at LORMET Community Federal Credit Union, 1897 Cooper Foster Park, Amherst, Ohio 44001.
