Alyssa Rose Ellis

Alyssa Smith-Ellis, age 11, of Amherst passed away unexpectedly Monday, January 16, 2012 at EMH Amherst Hospital. She was born June 26, 2000 in Lorain. Alyssa was a member of the Amherst Church of the Nazarene. She is survived by her parents Tony and Cathy Ellis; siblings Brianna, Jacob, Kyle, Meagan, Jon, Emily, Nicolas, and Zachary Ellis; Paternal Grandmother Marilyn Ellis of Lorain; Maternal Grandfather Frank Wysocki of Lorain; many aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by Paternal Grandfather Roscoe Ellis, Maternal Grandmother Norma Wysocki, uncle John Wysocki, cousin Daniel Critelli, and aunt Sarah Mounts. Visitation will be Thursday, January 19th from 4-8 p.m. at Dombrowski-Riddle Funeral Home & Cremation Center 1939 Oberlin Ave., Lorain. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11:00 a.m. at Amherst Church of the Nazarene 210 Cooper-Foster Rd., Amherst where the family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. Pastor Rich Henry will officiate. Entombment will follow at Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial contributions Alyssa's memory may be made to the family.
