Angeline T. Roll, 88 of Columbus, formerly of Lorain, died Sunday, July 20, 2008 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. She was born June 18, 1920 in Lorain and graduated from Lorain High School. She lived in Lorain for the past 20 years, moving to Columbus over a years ago. She had also lived in Toledo and Marion. On June 10, 1942, Angeline married Robert Roll, who survives her in Columbus, and was a devoted homemaker. Her family will remember her cooking, baking, seamstress work. She was also a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Lorain. She is survived by a son, Dennis (Libby) Roll of Massillon; daughter, Patrice (Michael) Fox of Marion; grandchildren, Daniel Roll, David Roll, Sara Chandler, Paul Roll, Sarah Smith and Libby Echevaria; great-grandchildren, Darrin, Dylan and Lainey; sisters, Rose Miechur and Vicky (Harold) Rumpler, both of Lorain and Helen (John ) Gooddell of Amherst. She was preceded-in-death by her parents, Frank and Kunegunda Miechur, son, Daniel Roll, an infant daughter, sister, Ann Papay and brother, Joseph Miechur. There will be no visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, July 24, 2008 at 10:00 am at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 418 W. 15th Street, Lorain. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
