Ann M. Kennedy

Ann M. Kennedy, age 82, of Vermilion, died Saturday, January 7, 2006 in Kingston of Vermilion. She was born on May 13, 1923 in Doylestown, Ohio and has lived in Vermilion since 1987. She had also lived in the North Ridgeville and Grafton areas. She had attended the Elyria Practical Nursing School and worked as a practical nurse at Elyria Memorial Hospital for 18 years. She had at one time also worked as a time keeper for General Industries. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Vermilion. She enjoyed reading, bowling, playing the organ and fishing. She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Ann Malone of Elyria; a granddaughter, Laura Potter of Elyria; sister, Patricia Ann Walker of Vermilion; and brother, John R. Fritz of North Fort Meyers, FL. Preceding her in death were her husband, Jack L. Kennedy in 1985, parents, Mile J. and Ione (nee Bricker) Fritz, sisters, Mary J. Wynieski, Margaret E. Northhouse and Eleanore E. Blythe and a brother, Miles C. Fritz. A memorial mass will be arranged at a later date.
