Ann Super

Ann Super, 79 of Lorain, died Monday, June 4, 2007 in Amherst Manor Nursing Home following a lengthy illness. She was born September 20, 1927 in Lorain and had been a lifelong resident. She was a homemaker to her husband and children and enjoyed history and reading. She was a member of Tower Baptist Church in Lorain and had also attended St. Nicholas Byzantine Catholic Church in Lorain. She is survived by her sons, Rick Super of Ashland and John Super of Bradenton, Florida; daughters, Sandy Drennan and Joan Kritz, both of Lorain; 8 grandchildren; brothers, Al Dlugosz of Avon Lake, Bruno Dlugosz of Amherst and Ronald Dlugosz of Lorain; sister, Jane Simashkevich of Amherst; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded-in-death by her husband, Alex Super on May 31, 2007, parents, Frank and Anna (nee Seroka) Dlugosz, sister, Josephine Attie and brothers, Walter and Joseph Dlugosz and Stan Tokarz. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held in the mausoleum chapel at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, North Ridge Road, Lorain, at 1:00 pm on Thursday, June 7, 2007. The Reverend David Smith, pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate. Floral tributes may be delivered to Dombrowski-Humphrey-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain.
