Anna Marie Kovach

Anna Marie Kovach (nee Maszton), 92, of Florence Twp., died Saturday, May 30, 2015 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born March 6, 1923 in Lorain and had been a Florence Twp. resident for the past 63 years moving from Henrietta Twp. Anna was a member of Crossroads Christian Center, Oberlin and the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed cooking, baking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is survived by her sons, Bob ( Marian) Kovach and Frank (Lynn) Kovach both of Florence; 6 grandchildren: Todd, Matthew, Bryan, Sarah, Erica, and Paula; 6 great grandchildren; and sister, Mary Putnucky of Huron. She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Robert Kovach in 2006; parents, George and Anna (nee Korak) Maszton; twin grandsons, Joshua Paul and Joseph Robert Kovach; sister, Margaret and Martha Maszton, and Helen Vilt; and brothers, Nick, Julius, and Joe Maszton. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June, 2, 2015 from 5-7 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH 44089. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at 10:00 am at the funeral home. Pastor Nikki Wynne will officiate. Interment will follow at Florence Twp. Cemetery.
