Anna C. Manson (nee Anzick), 99, formerly of Vermilion, died Sunday, January 20, 2013 at Villa St. Joseph, Village at Marymount, Garfield Heights, Ohio. Anna was born July 10, 1913 in Cleveland, and lived her life in Euclid, Sandusky, Vermilion and Garfield Heights. She lived at Villa St. Joseph the last 4 years but had lived in Vermilion since 1971 moving there from Sandusky. She and her husband (William F. Manson) had owned and operated a motel in Sandusky and then the Elberta Inn in Vermilion. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion the VFW, AMVETS, and American Legion Auxiliaries and the Vermilion Golden Agers. She enjoyed traveling especially with the Ford Retirees Travel Club. She is survived by her, daughter, Joanne (Louis) Totedo of Willoughby; step daughter, Marilyn (Barry) Miller of Seattle, WA and stepson, William D. (Sherrie) Manson, University Heights; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and a sister, Florence Zamen, Cleveland. A Funeral Mass will be at Gesu Church, 2470 Miramar Blvd, University Heights at 11:00 am on February 2, 2013. The family will receive friends at Gesu Church at 10:30 before the mass and at a reception at the church hall after the mass. A second mass will be held at the Chapel at Marymount Place, 5200 Marymount Village Drive,Garfield Heights, at 9:30 am on Monday, February 4, 2013. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Village at Marymount, 5200 Marymount Village Dr., Garfield Heights, Ohio 44125.
