Anne E. Huhra

Anne E. Huhra, 94, of Miamisburg, formerly of Lorain, died June 15, 2007 as a result of a house fire. Born in Lorain she was a Lorain resident until moving to Miamisburg 3 years ago. She worked at Bendix Manufacturing in Elyria and was a member of the Catholic Church of St. Peter, Lorain. She enjoyed reading and her cats. She is survived by her caregiver and nephew, Charles Zan II, Dayton, Ohio; sister, Rose M. Demyan, Dayton, nephews, Kenneth Zan of Lorain and Charles Zan, Avon, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Huhra; 2 sisters, Stella Barens and Erma Springowski and 2 brothers, Charles and Steven Zan. A Memorial Mass will be held at 1:30 pm on Thursday, June 21, 2007 at the Catholic Church of St. Peter, 3655 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. The Reverend Charles Henkle, OFM Conv., associate pastor, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Lorain.
