Anne Mary Soucek (nee Cerveny), 91, of Vermilion, died Monday, May 31, 2004 in Kingston of Vermilion after a brief illness. She was born February 10, 1913 in Cleveland, and has lived in Vermilion for 25 years. She worked as a Interior Decorator for Kinsley Shop in Shaker Heights. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Vermilion; where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She volunteered for the Martha Martha group at church. She enjoyed gardening, fishing and her great grandchildren. Survivors include her son, Charles A. Soucek of Cincinnati; 2 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Florence Koenig of Bainbridge; a brother, Robert Cerveny of Broadview Heights and several nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband Charles J. Soucek, 1989; parents, James and Mary ( nee Roubic) Cerveny; a sister, Mae Srp and brothers, Elmer and Charles Cerveny. Friends may call on Thursday, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Prayers will be held on Friday in the funeral home at 9:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial 10 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 731 Exchange Street, Vermilion. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion. Contributions may be made to the Charity of the Donor's Choice.
