Arlene R. Redinger

Arlene R. Redinger (nee Friday), age 78, of Vermilion, died Friday, March 4, 2005 at Community Health Partners in Lorain following a lengthy illness. She was born on March 2, 1927 in Vermilion and has been a lifelong resident. She had worked for the Wakefield Brass Company in Vermilion for 20 years, retiring in 1973. She was a member of United Church of Christ Congregational in Vermilion as well as an active member of the Madeleine Chapter #204 Order of Eastern Star and the Ladies Auxiliary at Amvets Post 22. Survivors include her husband, Eugene F. Redinger; sons, Garry Martin of Lorain, and Barry Martin of Toronto, Canada; 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded-in-death by her parents, John Raymond and Lottie (nee Troxel) Friday, a brother, James Friday and a sister, Helen Apley. The family will recieve friends on Monday, March 7, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. Services will be held at the Riddle Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 8, 2005 at 1:00 pm. The Reverend Wendell Brooker, pastor of the UCC Congregational will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
