Arthur A. Kerchinske

Arthur A. Kerchinske, 69, of Vermilion, died Monday, August 1, 2022 at his home after a lengthy illness.

He was born July 18, 1953 in Sandusky, OH and had been a life long Vermilion area resident.

He graduated from the class of 1971 at Vermilion High School and worked for Ford Motor Co. for 30 years, retiring as an inspector in 2001.

He was a member of the UAW #425 and enjoyed riding his motorcycle and traveling.  He also had his private pilots license and loved flying.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Debra (nee Denger) Kerchinske of Vermilion; son, Daren (Rosalie) Kerchinske of Seattle, WA; sisters, Gayle (Bernie) Paetzel of New Vienna, OH and JoAnn (Richard) Smith of Somerset, KY; and his brother-in-law, Don Denger of Lorain.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Josephine (nee Turza).

The family will receive friends on Thursday,  August 4, 2022  from 4 pm to 7 pm   at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio

The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society Ohio Division Inc., 10501 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44106  or the Friendship Animal Protective League, 8303 Murray Ridge Road, Elyria, OH 44035 .
