Arthur N. Woodall

Arthur N. Woodall, 67, of Vermilion, fell aspleep in the Lord Friday, August 31, 2007 at Community Health Partners, Lorain. He was born November 22, 1939 in Salt Rock, W. Virginia, and had lived in Vermilion the past 44 years. He worked as a Fork Lift Operator for Ford Motor, Lorain. He was a member of First Assembly of God Church, Vermilion, UAW Local #425, and enjoyed wood carving. Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Velma (nee Bias) Woodall; daughters, Tammy Porter and Kim Scott, both of Vermilion; son, Jody Woodall of Vermilion; brothers, Ernest Lucas of El Paso, Arkansas, James Woodall of Hamlin, WV, Dallas Lucas of Chattanooga, TN David Lucas of Tyler, TX, Kenny Lucas of Kingsport, TN; sisters, Nellie Nix of , Corinth, Mississippi Gloria Free of Beebe, Arkansas, Kathy Taylor of El Paso, Arkansas Patricia Elkins of Clearwater, FL, Susie Poole of Maryville, TN ; 8 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents Archie Lucas and Loryene Woodall Pack. Friends may call Monday, September 3, 2007 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion where funeral services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m.. Pastors Mike Leville, of the First Assembly of God Church and Nathan Porter, grandson of Mr. Woodall will co-officiate. Interment will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
