Audrey Aldrich

Audrey C. Aldrich (nee Carmichael), 87, of Vermilion, died Thursday, November 11, 2010 at Kingston of Vermilion after a lengthy illness. Born July 31, 1923 in Buffalo, NY, she had been a Vermilion resident for the past 18 years moving from Marilla, NY. She was a member of the Marilla Home Bureau craft club and enjoyed cross stitch and reading mystery novels. Survivors include her daughter, Wilma Jean (Richard) Boyd, Choctaw, OK; sons, James (Donna) Aldrich of Lehigh Acres, FL and Michael (Doreen) Aldrich, Vermilion; 5 grandchildren; 2 step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. . She was preceded in death by her husband, Vernon, Oct. 25, 2002, a brother, James Carmichael, and her parents, Fred and Nettie (nee Dabb) Carmichael. Friends may call Monday, November 15, 2010 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Charles Meyer Funeral Home, 13228 Broadway, Alden, NY where funeral services will be Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2010.
