Barbara Goliszewski

Barbara Goliszewski (nee Komendarek), 71, of Lorain, died Wednesday, December 21, 2016 at her home after a short illness. She was born September 17, 1945 in Poland. She has been a Lorain resident for the past 34 years moving from Poland. Barbara was a member of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, Lorain. She had a love for gardening and taking care of her yard. She was the life of the party and would protect her family at all cost. She is survived by husband of 48 years, Jerzy Goliszewski; son, Grzegorz Goliszewski of Lorain; brother, Jerzy Komendarek of Poland; and sister, Krystyna Jaworska of Poland. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Stanislawa (nee Haber) and Stanislaw Komendarek and her brother, Tadalusz Komendarek. The family will receive friends on Friday, Dec. 23, 2016 from 4-8 pm at the Dombrowski-Riddle Funeral Home, 1939 Oberlin Avenue, Lorain, Ohio. Prayers will be said at the funeral home on Saturday, Dec. 24, 2016 at 9:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, 418 W 15th St, Lorain, OH 44052.
