Barbara Helen Hildebrandt

Barbara Helen Hildebrandt (nee Kodysz), 73, of Vermilion, died Friday, September 2, 2011 at New Life Hospice of St. Joseph after a short illness. Barbara was born July 24, 1938 in Wakeman and had been a lifelong Florence Township and Vermilion area resident. . She was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church and had been active in 4H and Girl Scouts. She loved her family, friends, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by 2 daughters Ann Anderson and Pam Davidson, both of Vermilion; 4 sons, Terence Hildebrandt of Vermilion, Ronald (Denyse) Hildebrandt of Amherst, Stan (Trisha) Hildebrandt of Berlin Heights, Milo (Wendy) Hildebrandt of Vermilion, 11 grandsons, Walter Showman, Michael Parks, Greg (Brittaney) Spangler, Joshua, Tristan, Nathan, Matthew, Douglas Mitchell, Austin and Mason Hildebrandt; 4 granddaughters, Andrea (Don) Metz, Rachael, Teah, and Savannah Hildebrandt; great grandchildren, Lexi, Faith, Allie, Chris, Nick, Alex, Austin, D.J., A.J., Lacey, Zack; 3 sisters, Joan Strickland, , Jean Gudino-Kodysz and Sharon Pfeifer all of Arizona; 3 brothers, David Kodysz of Alaska, Scott Kodysz of AR, and Ken Kodysz of CA; and several nieces and nephews.. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson "Rusty" Hildebrandt, brothers, Jon & Gary Kodysz;, grandson, John Anderson, granddaughter, Pamella Trottier, and great-granddaughter, Trinity Metz The family will receive friends on Monday, September 5, 2011 from 6-9 p.m. at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. A memorial service will be Friday, September 9, 2011 at 6 p.m. at Lakeview Baptist Church, 591 Ferndale Ave., Vermilion, Ohio. The Reverend Guy Morton will officiate. Private interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Berlin Heights.
