Barbara Mittelstaedt

Barbara Helen Mittelstaedt (nee Horvath), 65, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, October 22, 2003 in Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, Ohio. She was born August 23, 1938 in Lorain, Ohio . She was a former member of the Hungarian Reformed Church of Cleveland. She bowled at Lake Erie Lanes in Vermilion, and had bowled a 300 game. She was an artist and enjoyed ceramics and oil painting especially landscapes and florals. Survivors include her husband Edward Robert Mittelstaedt to whom she had been married 44 years; son, Ronald Mittelstaedt of Vermilion, and 2 grandsons. Preceding her in death were her parents, John and Barbara (nee Pinta) Horvath and a daughter. A memorial service will be held Friday, October 24, 2003 at 10 a.m. at Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. The Reverend Louis Bertoni will officiate.
