Barbara L Moss

Barbara L. Moss (nee Kett), 74, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a short illness. She was born August 22, 1942 in Midland, MI and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 42 years moving from Midland. Barbara worked as an office clerk for Dow Chemical Co., Midland, MI from 1962 until she married her husband, Ambrosia in 1974. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, watching Michigan football, listening to Elvis Presley, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was the keeper of important family dates and always remembered everyone's birthdays. She is survived by her son, Brian Moss of Vermilion; daughter, Lisa A (Harry) Puckett of Waldo; step-daughters, Lisa M. (Tommy) Heaston of Corith, MS and Anita (David) Hill of Adamsville, TN; grandchildren, Amanda, Andrew, Alex, Aric, Andrew, and Tyler; great grandson, Emilo; and sister, Karen Harrell of Midland, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ambrosia Moss in 2013; her parents, John L and Marie (nee Schissler) Kett; and her brother, John L Kett, II. The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 5, 2016 from 1:00 pm until the time of the funeral service at 3:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio.
