Barbara J. Wilson

Barbara J. Wilson (nee Leitch), 77, of Vermilion, died Saturday, January 22, 2011 at New Life Hospice of St. Joseph after a lengthy illness. Born March 15, 1933 in New London, Ontario, Canada, she had been a Vermilion resident since 1956 moving from Buffalo, NY. Barbara had been Head Teller at Erie County (Key) Bank, Vermilion, where she had worked for 20 years.. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Vermilion, and enjoyed knitting, quilting, collecting baskets, gardening and garage sales. She is survived by her husband of 55 years, William, sons, William (Cindy) Wilson and Scott Wilson; daughters, Janet (David) Williams and Julie Ebel and her companion, Dale Music, all of Vermilion; grandchildren, Bill (Lindsey), Patrick, Doug, Dalaina, and Margaret, and sister, Margaret Thompson , Washington, PA. . She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Rita (nee Rutledge) Leitch. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion. Father Ron Brickner will officiate.
