Beatrice Yost

Beatrice Yost (nee Hamilton), 77 , of Birmingham, died Thursday, June 9, 2022 at her home after a lengthy illness. She was born January 23, 1945 in Neon, KY and had been a Birmingham resident for the past 10 years moving from Vermilion. Beatrice had worked as a beautician before becoming a nurses aide. She had worked at Kingston of Vermilion and The Inn at Chapel Creek. She was a social member of the American Legion Post #397 and enjoyed gardening, cooking, garage sales, Blue grass concerts, hillbilly stomping and testing her luck with the lottery. She especially enjoyed socializing with friends and family. She is survived by her daughters, Jennifer (Nate Timko) Yost of Birmingham; Alice (David) Sparks of KY, Rhonda McGovern of Vermilion, and Brenda K Brannon of Amherst; sons, Larry B. Yost, Jr. of Birmingham and James Lusk of Amherst; step daughter, Chrystal Dobbins of Cincinnati; step sons, Fred (Peggy) Yost of Fort Gay, WV, Kelly Yost of South Amherst and Scott (Lisa) Yost of Wakeman; 19 grandchildren; and 22 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Yost; parents, James and Ethel (nee Whittaker) Hamilton; brother, Budrow Hamilton; sisters, Reba Hall, Jeanette Sloan, and Bernice Tackett; and her grandson, Timmy Brannon Jr. Private services will be held with inurnment at Maple Grove Cemetery, Vermilion.
