Ben C. Hobson

Ben C. Hobson, 30, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, December 30, 2009 at Community Health Partners West after a lengthy illness. He was born December 1, 1979 in Amherst and has been a Vermilion resident since 1984 moving from Sheffield Lake. Ben enjoyed spending his time on the computer and playing chess. He is survived by his father, Ernest Hobson, Jr. of Vermilion. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Hobson (nee Puckett) on February 17, 2005; a sister, Nancy Louise Hobson on May 23, 1982, his paternal grandparents, Ernest and Georgia Hobson and maternal grandparents, Jim and Mattie Puckett. The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 3, 2010 from 4-8 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 4, 2010 at 12 noon at the Riddle Funeral Home with Reverend Cliff Morris, pastor of Lakeview Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
