Bernice M Davis

Bernice M. Davis (nee McCune), 92, of Vermilion, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016 at Mill Manor Nursing Home where she had been a resident since October of 2014. Bernice was born January 2, 1924 in Memphis, TN, and had been a Vermilion resident for the past 57 years moving from Memphis. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family and friends, especially "the village people". She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Paul) Davis of Vermilion; grandchildren, Jonathan and Matthew Davis, and Sarah (Wallace) Tiller; great grandson, Brady Tiller; and brother, Herbert (Betty) McCune of Cordova, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband Burl R. Davis in 2003, parents, Edmond and Junie (nee Hill) McCune; and sister, Virginia Goodnight. The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 28th from 12 noon until 2 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH. A graveside service will follow the visitation at 2:30 pm at Ridge Hill Memorial Park, Amherst.
