Betty Jean Webb (nee Wiseman ), 79, of Wakeman, died Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a short illness. She was born June 6, 1936 in Troy , WV, and had been a Wakeman resident for the past 44 years moving from Vermilion. Betty graduated from Vermilion High School in 1954. She enjoyed gardening, her pets, bowling and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Charles "Chuck" Webb; son, William (Cheryl) Breen of Clarksfield; daughters, Deborah (Charlie) Huffman of Shepherdsville, KY, Carol (Frank) Sacramone of Nova, Gerrie (Mark ) Themar of Mount Perry, Karen (Mark) Wells of Birmingham, and Jennifer (Richard Crane) Webb of Brooklyn Heights; 24 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; and sisters, Jan Swisher of Shreve and Barb Ansell of Vermilion. She was preceded in death by her father Carl Wiseman; mother and step-father, Virginia (nee Smith) and Andy Anderson, and granddaughter, Kaitlyn Wells. The family will receive friends on Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015 from 3:00 pm until the time of a memorial service at 5:00 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, OH. The family suggests memorial contributions to the Alzheimer's Association Northwest OH Chapter 2500, North Reynolds Road, Toledo, OH 43615-0708.
