Beverly Jean Markus

Beverly Jean Markus (nee West), 63, of Vermilion, died Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at Mercy Regional Medical Center after a short illness. She was born September 10, 1951 in Lorain, and had been a life long Vermilion resident. Beverly had worked at the Olive Factory in Vermilion. She was a member of the Harbourtown Community Church, Vermilion. She enjoyed tending to her flowers, lawn work, and helping her neighbors. Beverly is survived by her husband of 30 years, George Markus; mother, Dorothy Mae (nee Phillips) West of Vermilion; brothers, Robert ( Patricia) West of Lorain, Michael (Lynn) West of Vermilion, and John West of Vermilion; sister in law, Georgine West of Avon and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Edward F. West , Sr. and brothers, Edward F. West , Jr. and Thomas West.
