Bobby G Bunn, 76, of Vermilion, died Sunday, December 11, 2011 at after a short illness. Bobby was born May 3, 1935 in Earle, Arkansas. He has been a Vermilion resident for the past 53 years, moving from Memphis. He was a veteran of the Army serving during the Korean War. He was a member of AMVETS Post 22 in Vermilion and Ely Masonic Lodge #424. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, enjoyed doing mechanical work on cars, reading and working on the computer. Bobby worked as a welder for E & L Transport retiring in 1992.. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Dorothy (nee Scott) Bunn of Vermilion; daughter, Shelby Bunn of New Orleans; son, Bobby Bryan Bunn of Vermilion; grandchildren, Brittany, Kelsea, Bryan, James ( fiancée, Caralise) and Bobby; great-granddaughter, Ava Jade; brother, W.O Bunn Jr. of Mesa, AZ; sister, Shirley Burry and long time family friend, Sally Willson of Bullhead City, AZ; several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, William & Daisy (nee Madden) Bunn. The Vermilion Veterans Council will conduct a military service followed by a memorial service on Wednesday, Dec. 14, 2011 at 2 pm at the Riddle Funeral Home, 5345 South Street, Vermilion, Ohio. New Life Hospice Chaplin Christopher Robinson will officiate. The family suggests memorial contributions to American Cancer Society, Ohio Division Inc,. 10501 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44106.
